Swimming Lessons for Children

I have been associated with a swim school for 28 yrs. Previously helping manage and training instructors. Also, teaching toddlers, children and adult swim lessons for many years.  I am CPR/First Aid Certified. I love teaching swimming lessons. It gives me great pleasure to know that I have helped a child or adult learn to swim and be confident and safe around water.

Everyone should learn to swim, it is a life saving skill.  We understand that every swimmer is different  and their age, fears and abilities and desires are considered in our approach to meaningful teaching experiences.  We encourage our swimmers to come out of their comfort zone  and try new skills to help build their self confidence in the water.  We don't believe in flotation devices because they provide a false sense of security and have been the blame of numerous tragic accidents in the water. We believe in teaching our swimmers to become safer in the water, how to swim and to love and respect the water. We believe in a caring  and yet firm learning environment. 

Swim lessons will be offered 1 day a week for 30 minute sessions, same day and same time each week. Private Lessons, Semi-Private Lessons and Parent and Me Lessons. We keep our outdoor pool at 92 degrees. Bathroom facilities on the premises.
